The Gospel, Mission & Values
We believe it essential to address the question, 'What is the Gospel' before defining anything else about our identity. The Gospel explains the central theme of our faith, as well as the central character and hero-Jesus Christ. It is the good news that in Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection there is redemption and reconciliation. Our relationships with both God and people can be restored.
Mission:
Helping people find their way back to God.
*The Three Core Values of REUNION
Our Core Values are a call to be a part of a simple, yet profound faith expression in a community of Christ followers.
[*FAITH]
Our concept of Faith embraces the larger concept of how we relate to God and what we believe worship truly means. Faith may take us to worship on Sundays but we seek to live out and communicate our love for Him through our lives as a whole.
[*COMMUNITY]
Our concept of Community embraces how we relate to others in the church and the level of unity we want to be known for. We connect together weekly in community groups to grow spiritually, and develop meaningful, healthy friendships. Biblical community is about sharing and living life together.
[*GENEROSITY]
Our concept of Generosity embraces how we relate to our culture. We believe we are blessed to be a blessing to our great city of Boston. Generosity begins with the use of our time, talents, and resources to build the church and create the Kingdom in our world.
