Fast
11/18/07
Join us as we fast and pray for God to help us be a more generous people. We all tend to go out to eat (whether for coffee or an actual meal) at least once a week. We are asking that one time this week, you would instead save the money and take the time to pray and ask God what it would look like for you to be a more generous person. Ask God what steps you can take toward being more generous. Take time to pray and don't forget to listen. Do this on your own, or in community. Then this Sunday, we'll take up a special offering. We would ask you to put in the money you saved while doing your fast so that we can give it to a couple different needs. We will use some of the money to partner with a local food pantry in Upham's Corner and buy Thanksgiving turkeys for members of the neighborhood. The rest will go towards relief efforts in the Dominican Republic. Recent flooding has left many with significant needs. Thanks for seeking God in this way with us!

Grand Opening Reception
02/18/07
We will have a reception following the Sunday morning gathering and everyone is invited to stick around. We're excited about all the new and old faces that will be aroud this Sunday...so let's celebrate this day and how God is growing our community! There will be cookies, pastries, fruit, coffee, lemonade and whole lot of time to connect and hang out.
Grand Opening #2?
02/18/07
If you've seen our postcards or T ads, you know that we are having another "Grand Opening." Why is that? Last fall, when we were set to begin weekly gatherings, things fell through on our location at the theatre. We scrambled to find another location and delayed our launch until we secured a new spot. The delay impacted our postcards and T posters that we had planned to coincide with our launch. Now that it is after the New Year, it is a great time to send out those postcards and T posters to let the community know we are here. We've been calling it a "RE-Launch." Call it anything you like if it helps you remember the date!
Saturday Prayer Gathering
02/17/07
We will have a prayer gathering at the offices (665 Beacon, Suite 301) from 5-6PM this Saturday, Feb. 17th. There is power in prayer and we want God to be in our planning and preparation. Please join us if you can.
Child Dedications
02/11/07
On February 11th, REUNION will be hosting our first Child Dedication Service. The morning presents parents of infants and children an opportunity to publicly declare their desire to raise their child in a Christian home. Dedications will take place as a part of our 10:30 AM gathering at the Back Bay - Hilton. For more information or to register, please email Karen Brown, or call the REUNION office at 617.859.0595.
Technical Difficulties...Please Stand By.
01/19/07
You may have noticed the lack of recordings available on our podcast (yeah, like none). We have been experiencing some technical difficulties and the podcasts are not yet live. We hope that the issues have been resolved and plan to offer a weekly recording of our messages (and occasionally some music) starting the week of January 22nd, 2007. We are sorry for the inconvenience and look forward to making our messages available consistently and efficiently very soon. Thanks for your patience!
No REUNION Gathering New Year's Eve
12/25/06
We will not gather as a community on New Year's Eve, January 31st, 2006. We do not want people in our young church to have to choose between their family and their church community this weekend. We will be back together at the Hilton - Back Bay Sunday, January 7th, 2007 at 10:30 AM. Have a safe and happy holiday!
Christmas Party
12/18/06
We are partnering with a Woman's Concern to throw a Christmas party for a couple of new mothers and their families. We have collected "wish lists" from each family and hope to make this a remarkable Christmas for them. If you would like to participate by purchasing clothing, toys or other needs for the family, please contact Phil McArdle. On Monday, December 18th at 7:00 PM we will throw a Christmas party for the family at our office. Please plan to come out and join us. If you would like more information or would like to assist with preparations for the party, please contact Phil McArdle.
A Special Thanks
12/14/06
We want to say thanks to Brad Smith for letting us raid his personal stash of photos. All the site banners are his photography with the exception of the homeless man, stained glass, and the Citgo sign. Brad is certainly gifted and his generosity lends the feel and vibe we were hoping for. Thanks again Brad!
Launch Community Gathering
12/09/06
On Saturday, December 9th, we invite all those who are serving within the community of REUNION Christian Church to join us for breakfast at 9:30 AM. We would like to share breakfast at our offices (at 665 Beacon St.) as an opportunity to celebrate with and thank those who have contributed through the infancy of our church. If you are are a contributor and would like to attend or if you would like more information about serving REUNION, email John Tischer.
