Dominican Republic Trip
Our REUNION team recently returned from a successful trip to the Dominican Republic (DR) and we want to say, "Thank You!" to all of you that prayed for our team. While in the DR we were able to have three focuses during the trip. We supplied and ran a free medical clinic that was able to treat 800+ people in two days. While our medical team (9 people) was serving people's medical needs, our contruction team (13 people) was working on a building that will function as both a nutrition center and a church. We also spent significant time doing kids ministry by serving at a nutrition center and sharing the story of the Good Samaratin through drama, crafts, and singing. Not only were we able to serve people in a big way while we were there, this trip also built strong relationships resulting in an onoging partnership. REUNION is going to partner with Pastor Luis Vargas (botton left) and his congregation. We will support them financially, prayerfully, and relationally with annual trips to serve his Church (bottom right).
