God is beautiful and His creation reflects His beauty. God created man and woman in His likeness to also create works of beauty. As creatures made in the image of the Creator, we find an integral connection to His heart through the arts. In His creation, God provided the elements necessary for art; light, color, shapes, natural objects, diversity, space, unity and beauty. We believe that beauty, art and creativity should be valued, used, and understood as coming from or being connected to the Creator. We want our lives to be marked by connectedness to God and a creative response to His love and grace.
Art can be expressed in many forms from original music to visual arts from poetry, prose and stories to film. Creativity can be expressed in song, painting, photography, graphic art, poetry, prayer, film, drama, and other mediums. At REUNION we hope to incorporate these elements and others to communicate the redemptive story of the Gospel in ways that words alone cannot.
