Our Gathering
We desire as a community to express our hearts of love, adoration and praise to Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith. REUNION seeks to creatively provide venues, particularly through music and the arts, by which we as a community can express our reverence and love for God.
What to Expect
So how does our concept of worship impact our Sunday morning gatherings? Here's a glimpse of what to expect:
People who show up prior to service spend time greeting one another and staking out a seat. The worship gathering lasts for approximately one hour and ten minutes. It usually begins with music, a prayer or reading from the Bible. A live band leads us in song. These songs are often arranged and sometimes written by our artists. You'll see movie clips, photography, and performance art as we seek to communicate the message creatively. The message is from the Bible. It is designed to help us understand God, who we are, and the world in which we live. Every week we participate in communion to thank God, and remind ourselves of our need for Jesus Christ. We also give back to God in the form of offerings. By giving, we recognize His provision and participate in the ministry of the church. The service ends with a few announcements about community life. After service people often spend ten to thirty minutes talking with one another, and then frequently go to lunch in groups.
