About Generosity
- Romans 12:4-5
We believe that making the world a better place is one of the primary functions of the church. The people of God are likened to a body, each with its own unique identity and function. If you desire to be a Christ-follower, it does not mean just believing. The New Testament author James says, "Faith without works is dead." We don't do good things to earn God's gift of salvation, but as James says, without works, it's not faith. In other words, the gospel must be lived, not limited to ideas or words. REUNION is committed to preparing people by empowering them for building the church as well as creating the Kingdom of God in our city and the world.
At REUNION, we acknowledge the person who sings on stage, the Community Group Leader, and the person who works with the homeless are contributing to something bigger. All are used to help others reconnect with God's story of redemption. If you choose REUNION as your church community, we pray that the generosity of your time, talents, and resources will inevitably become a part of your life's worship.
