About Miracle Mile Ministries
A Community of Hope in the Heart of Boston
Miracle Mile Ministries is a collaborative outreach led by Congregación León de Judá and several partner churches committed to bringing hope and restoration to those experiencing homelessness and addiction in Boston’s South End—an area often known as “Mass & Cass” or “Methadone Mile.”
Since 2012, volunteers have gathered every Saturday morning to share meals, distribute clothing and hygiene items, and build relationships with neighbors living on the streets and in nearby shelters. More than a relief effort, Miracle Mile Ministries is a long-term, faith-driven movement to see lives transformed through compassion, dignity, and the love of Christ.
What to expect
Ways to Volunteer
Breakfast
Operations
Each Saturday morning, volunteers help create a welcoming space by serving a hot breakfast and connecting with guests. Roles include breakfast distribution, table stewardship, door greeting, and guest registration.
Clothing Closet Operations
Help provide warmth and comfort by distributing clothing and essential items to our guests. Volunteers organize, restock, and assist individuals in finding what they need.
Needle & Trash pickup
Volunteers help with needle and trash pickup to make sure the neighborhood is safe for children and families.

Serve with REUNION at Miracle Mile Ministries
We welcome anyone who wants to join us in serving our neighbors through Miracle Mile Ministries. Whether you help prepare and serve food, distribute clothing, or simply show up to listen and build relationships, your presence makes a difference.
Step 1: Fill Out our Monthly Survey
We pick a Saturday every month based off the availability of those who are interested in volunteering. Fill out the survey and stay tuned for the upcoming date.
Complete the SurveyStep 2: Register with Miracle Mile
When you know you want to show up, it is best to register beforehand so that Miracle Mile Ministries can expect you. You can let them know which roles you prefer!
RegisterStep 3: Show Up and Join Us
⏰ When: On scheduled Saturday, 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
📍 Where: Congregación León de Judá (Enter through the gate by 20 Reed St. Boston, MA 02118)
Once you arrive, you'll see a group from REUNION. We'll connect with each other until we split off into our different teams. They will give us a quick training and then we'll serve for a couple of hours. We'll debrief as a large group and then you can head home or grab some brunch with us.
