Gathering Resources

Boston Flourish

Boston Flourish is a movement for dreamers and doers to activate and partner towards a Boston where everyone flourishes.God has been and is presently at work in our city in many different ways. Yet our city thrives when faith, business, and civic partners collaboratively address local issues rather than work on their own - It will take intentional partnership to truly see Boston Flourish.
Last year, Matt, Bailey, and a couple other REUNION people participated last year. The key impact areas were education, incarceration, and poverty/addiction. Organizations addressed these areas presented the current state of these realities, the progress being made, and how individuals can come alongside their efforts to see tangible change. Boston Flourish is a day-long conference, but it’s also a movement. Participants are given the opportunity to share feedback and join working teams to nurture collaborative potential for transforming our city. This year's platformed conversations are youth trauma, human trafficking awareness and migrant care.
This year's conference will be on Thursday, November 16th, at Park Street Church. You can register here. If you use promo code: BOSTONFLOURISH2023 before November 1st, you get $5 off.

Singleness, Marriage, and Sexuality

In a world that idolizes sex and celebrates a wide range of romantic bonds, Christians can feel conflicted and confused.

Are the Bible's boundaries around sex outdated? Is it cruel to deny someone who's attracted to their same sex sexual and romantic fulfilment? Is faithful singleness viable, or just a recipe for loneliness? Why has my marriage failed to make my dreams come true?

In this one-day conference on November 11th, speakers with a range of attractions, life stories, and expertise unite around the Bible's vision for both singleness and marriage as living signposts to the gospel truth of Jesus's unending love for us.We are invited to this one day conference along with other churches in Boston to listen and wrestle with some of these difficult questions.  You can register here.

Bring your Time and Talent

Followers of Jesus are called to become servants. We want to actively demonstrate self-sacrificial love by serving the people around us. It takes volunteers to sustain the weekly routines at REUNION. We are a family, and like a family, we all pitch in.We have a number of ways you can join us on our mission of helping people find their way back to God, and would love to help you figure out how you can use your gifts and help you plug in where you can do that as part of our community. From watching kiddos, to leading worship, to grabbing coffee with people, there are a ton of ways to be part of the mission here at Reunion.

Sunday Gathering

Arts

The arts at REUNION empower artists to creatively tell the story of the love and grace of Jesus as we gather on Sunday and throughout the week through different events. We invite those who want to help lead people to encounter God's presence through music and song.

Setup

Since we rent our facilities, we need a couple of hands each week to help us set up and create an environment to host people well.

Slides

The slides for our lyrics and announcements don't just show up on their own! We need a person each week who follows along and guides our community on what they should see on the screen.

Connections

Connections Team members are often the first people to engage with newcomers and first impressions leave a mark. As a representative of REUNION, we want people to feel known and loved, as Jesus knows and loves us.

Reunion Kids

Our church is passionate about serving families and enabling them to build sustainable lives to stay and thrive in Boston. We feel honored to come alongside families as children are guided to Christ and inspired to live out the way of Jesus.
As we build up this ministry, we are looking for people who want to serve families in this way.
Please contact us if you are interested.

Care Team

Our Care Team provides support to those who call Reunion Home. This team comes together and provides tangible help for those in our community. If you are someone who has a heart for caring for people in any kind of difficulty -- whether that be physical, financial, emotional, or spiritual, please reach out to care@reunionboston.com.

Generosity

If you’re new with us, don’t feel any obligation to give whatsoever, we’re just so glad that you’re here! Giving is an opportunity to worship God, but it’s a ‘get-to’ not a ‘have -to.’ To give toward our mission of Helping People Find Their Way Back to God, just click on the button below!

Genesis 3:1-7

Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LordGod had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’” “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
